Back in 2003, Cartoon Network made downloadable games available on their website, under the name, "Cartoon Network Powerplay," which could be purchased or download for free for a limited time, similar to Nickelodeon's competing "Nick Arcade." One of the downloadable games was "Bowl-Ed Over," which was an Ed, Edd n Eddy themed game. It had multiplayer for up to 4 players and full-screen support.

The description on the website states,

"Bowling goes 3-D! Customize your own ball, then let the good times roll as the other Ed's cheer you on. Pump up the pin action on two Ed-built alleys: the Bowl-de-Sac and Kanker Lane. You can practice on your own, or challenge up to three other players!"

There is a download link, but when you try to click "Play Now", it won't respond. https://web.archive.org/web/20040715040644/http://i.cartoonnetwork.com/toon/powerplay/games/bowled_over/BowlEdSetup.exe

The only images you can see are the ones on the website. https://web.archive.org/web/20040605095824/http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/powerplay/games/bowled_over/

An extraction of some game files is available here (Please note, you need 7-zip or WinRAR to open the file): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzmKUR71jczvTF9jYlJEZ1FkLU0/

It has a strange resemblance to another game called "Gutterball Bowling".

Probably it's because this game was made by Skunk Studios. (The same guys that made Gutterball.)

Owned the game on a now-long gone PC. You selected your ball-type (I remember one was green with lightning on it, and I think another was just the logo of the show), and you can bowl in three or more areas. I remember one being the alleyway of the show, and I think another was the backyard of one of their homes (I think the cul-de-sac was another). The world, ball, and pins were in 3d, while Characters in the background were just pictures taken from the show. The Eds, besides the titles and such, were not seeable, instead you heard them talk during your play.

I just checked the link with pictures. I remember the ed ball now. I think they each had their own affects, like the Ed one constantly moving right regardless of how you rolled it

Hmm... When I clicked on the dl link, it downloaded the file with no issue. It will download a setup file that installs the game. Since the powerplay page is down, there is no way to "buy" the game. You are forced to play a 10 minute demo of it. Hopefully someone can make a patch that activates the game.

I was a little kid and my Dad didn't like spending money online back in 2003 (especially for a simple little game that my 5 year old self would get bored with after a week), but I definitely do remember seeing ads for this on cartoonnetwork.com
