Status Partially Found

Adventures in Nutrition With Captain Carlos was a series of Flash-animated educational shorts that aired on Playhouse Disney (now Disney Junior).

It centered around Carlos choosing a healthy snack to eat before doing things such as bowling or going to a soccer match when his sister, Maria, tries to get him to eat some junk food (while singing a song about how they "sure look like fun"). A narrator then explains how the two kinds of food can affect your body followed by Carlos eating the healthy snack.

Availability

The skits have not aired on either iteration of the network since at least 2008, though there are rumors that there may be some episodes on pre-2009 Playhouse Disney home media releases.

A handful of episodes in English and Spanish have been found across Youtube and Vimeo, but other than that, little footage can be found.

You know, they actually still show them here in Asia sometimes. I just saw one the other day, can't remember much of it though but I remember it ending with Maria holding Carlos' cape to simulate the wind or something, as the next scene cuts to the two in the garden planting vegetables with their mother.

I don't really care for this show, but I'd thought this info would be useful for you.

Mind saying which feed do you receive? Maybe we can get someone to record the shorts before they're gone for good.

Wow, I sort of remember this. Playhouse Disney's site had a little educational game based off these shorts, too. If I remember right, it was like a VERY limited version of Mad-libs with different clips from the shorts as your choices for the "story".

They used to watch them all the time as a kid. Also, Maria wasn't the only one who told him to eat junk food. I'm pretty sure that Carlo's older brother also tried to.

The kid in these shorts looks like a young Jack from The Nutshack.

I'll try. The only problem is that all the computers in my house are SLOW AS BALLS and they have a shit load of viruses on them and none of my antiviruses are working properly. I might corrupt the data on the DVD if I try to upload it, so I have to get a new computer if I want to upload the short. This is Catlinconroy, signing off

Holy shit, I remember this. I didn't think much of it until I have watched youtuber blameitonjorge's 15 lost Disney media video. I do remember one particular short. My memory as a child is shit, but I can tell you what I know. There was an episode of Captain Carlos that I remembered that I noticed was not found yet. I will explain the plot. It starts out how any episode would. Carlos has a choice whether he should have the junk food Maria recommends, or the healthy food instead. What I do remember was that the healthy food Carlos chose was bread. I don't remember exactly what the junk food was. Carlos, obviously chooses the bread to eat, he becomes the so called Captain Carlos. After eating Carlos goes and helps paint what looks to be some assembly room walls. Not sure if it was an assembly room. Again, my memory wasn't that great. I am almost certain that the color they were using for the walls was either white, but it possibly could have been a bluish grey. I don't know, it's been so long. Well, that is all I know. Hope it could help :-)

Link to blameitonjorge's video:https://www....=aEcA0SNLfaI I was featured as number five on the list BTW.
