Status: Partially Found

Codename: Kids Next Door Mission Weekend was a 51-hour marathon that ran from 7 pm on August 8th, 2003, to 10 pm August 10th, 2003. Although the main focus was Codename: Kids Next Door, Cartoon Network also aired Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Ed, Edd n Eddy.

The main theme of the marathon was that the KND needed to build a satellite, and had to look at the other shows for clues. Throughout the marathon's several commercial breaks, Cartoon Network aired special bumpers, featuring spliced together footage of Codename: Kids Next Door characters interacting with characters from the other shows. Numbuh 1 stayed at the Treehouse, while Numbuhs 2 through 5 traveled "into" the other shows. It is unknown how many bumpers were aired in the marathon.

This marathon remained obscure for over 14 years, as no footage of it was uploaded to YouTube. There is an article on the subject on Cartoon Network's Wikia, although it goes so unmentioned that it there is not even a mention on the official Codename: Kids Next Door Wiki. A surviving ToonZone forum has a thread from August 8th, 2003 (during the weekend it aired).[1]

On February 12th, 2017, Cartoon Network and Toonami promo archivist Captain B. Zarre uploaded some of the lost bumpers from the marathon. Approximately 8 bumpers were in the upload, but the rest are still missing. It was taken down for copyright infringement and became lost again. However, on April 11th, 2023, YouTube user KSCG Guy uploaded a compilation of promos and bumpers from the event, including the ones from CBZ's upload.
