With the impact, her life and suicide left, now with "Leelah's Law" in the process of being signed and banning Transgender conversion therapy in the United States, the story of Leelah Alcorn needs little introduction.

On January 6th, 2015, her blog along with her suicide note post had been removed from Tumblr upon her parents' request. As it stands, supporters of Leelah have archived her suicide note and a couple selfies and drawings done by her in the form of screencaps. However, the rest of the content from her blog, including posts leading up to her suicide note, were seemingly lost.

On April 24th, 2015, shortly after this page was posted, MithrandirAgain has supplied multiple archives of her blog. Thanks! (WARNING: This page contains graphic imagery reblogged by her shortly before her suicide note.) https://web.archive.org/web/20141231022058/https://lazerprincess.tumblr.com/ https://archive.org/details/archive.lazerprincess.2015.01.02/

This is honestly one of the worst comments sections I have ever encountered on this wiki. Just because of petty and unjustified dislike towards people who are apparently "bratty" or are transgender has absolutely no excuse for pressuring someone into committing suicide because you don't even know the person in real life and only met them online.

P.S. Identifying Leelah Alcorn's original name as "Joshula Ryan Alcorn" would be disrespectful to her memory and her choice to be identified as a female.

I'm very thankful of the folks on here opposing the transphobic comments. As a trans person myself who just recently joined this site, it makes me feel pretty welcomed.

I'm placing my bet on some kind of "art piece," like the morbid "death" (sorry for the abuse of quotations, but if I didn't use them someone could go and think there were real images of death in the movie) photos from Ginger Snaps.

This is so sad... I'm glad Leelah's blog was archived to honor her. She was a wonderful girl and deserved better. Hope she's doing good wherever she is.

Great googly moogly, the comments section is longer than the article itself. You'd think the comments are the reason this is tagged as NSFL.

you people in the comment section should all be ashamed of yourself. this girl died. she killed herself. she was only 17 years old. she wasn't even an adult yet. she cant live life anymore. her parents decided to hate their daughter so much that she was driven to suicide. and you are all disrespecting her by calling her by the name she did not wished to be called as, and other insults. she was only a teenager, and you decide to call her bratty. this girl should be treated with the same respect that everybody else should. to everybody that is making fun of this poor girl and calling her a "he", YOU are the problem.

Someone just needed to sit this kid down and have a man-to-man convo, let him know it'll all be alright. Lets face it, your a guy, I'm a guy.. we know in the long run these little things fade away and life is much more about the bigger picture.

^ Yep, I could basically mirror what the other commenters have already said on here, including the part about being transgender myself. I decided to read about most of the NSFL articles on here today, but you bigots are scarier than many of those articles covered, in that you are anonymous and could (most likely) potentially breed, and spread your hate further, which is not what this world needs, especially in days like these, where we've come closer to near-general peace and acceptance since say...2010-2015 roughly? The point is, people like you guys cause suicides. How you guys live with that, I have no clue, but maybe you guys have friends who work in Congress, which explains your concerning lack of empathy.

Wait how is it our faults

Not really any of us are on Tumblr, and people who do that get banned on the wiki. So how does that make us assholes?

"the story of Leelah Alcorn needs little introduction."

Actually, I think it does. Not everyone is going to be familiar with her story.
