Status Existence Unconfirmed

In 1936, shortly before Walt Disney's 35th birthday, his brother Roy encouraged Disney employees to hold a surprise birthday party for him, to which they agreed. Supposedly, two unknown animators decided that it would be funny if they were to animate a short of Mickey and Minnie Mouse having sex for the party. When the short was shown, Disney responded by feigning laughter before complimenting the quality of the animation and inquiring as to who had created it. Once the two animators came forward, he immediately fired them, then left the building. It has been claimed that he ordered the destruction of all known copies of the animation shortly thereafter. It is unknown if any copies of this short survived after this.

Many have denounced the short's existence entirely, as the first public recounting of this story was in Marc Eliot's 1994 Disney biography Walt Disney: Hollywood's Dark Prince, a book which has caused a significant amount of controversy among other authors and colleagues of Disney for its inconsistencies and factual errors among other things.

Your claim is obviously fake because of 2 reasons: 1. The Blu-Ray format didn't exist back then if this supposed story took place in 1936 (they were introduced in 2007; there was no home video format during this time PERIOD). 2. How is it possible for Iceland and Cameroon to even receive a copy of this so-called pornographic short if Walt Disney destroyed all known copies of it (in fact, due to their far away locations from the United States with Iceland being an island on the North Atlantic Ocean and Cameroon being a part of the coastal areas off of Africa, it would have been impossible for them to receive it)?

Either way, I suspect this whole story to be a hoax created by Marc Eliot since none of the official biographies I read about Walt Disney reference this event happening and none of the animators who supposedly worked on this potentially non-existent animation were revealed.

It also doesn't help matters that the originator of this rumor, Marc Eliot, doesn't give any hints if this short even existed or if was something he made up. Given how much of his "biography" has been discredited by both Disney historians and people who worked with, it seems likely he made up this whole story just for fame and attention to himself showing the "dark" side of Walt Disney (i.e he wasn't a big racist and sexist man the "biography" claims him to be, though it is true that he identified himself as a conservative for most of his life).

I hope someone can send an email to Disney's archives to verify if this story was true (which most likely isn't).

I am aware that Disney probably wouldn't want to respond to that kind of email, but I would like to see this rumor being debunked at least.

Assuming this was real (and I highly doubt it is), anyone working in the Disney archives would not have any knowledge or records of something like this since 1. all known copies were supposedly destroyed, 2. it's been 80 years since these events have passed, so that debunks anyone personally being able to recollect the events, and 3. it purportedly wasn't made by the studio itself, rather by people who happened to work for the studio, so it'd be highly unlikely Disney would keep an archive of this (even though they own the rights to the characters). If anything, it would be most likely that the animators would have it, but they're two nameless entities who were supposedly immediately fired, so we wouldn't have much to go on. Unless of course someone is able to communicate with the dead or time travel (although there are probably better uses of those powers than figuring out if a specific Mickey and Minnie Mouse sex tape exists).

Likely to not exist. No solid evidence to support either side, but judging by the way Walt treated the workers, I doubt an animation, especially of this kind, would of been able to have been made 1 because of the length of time it would take to make with him not noticing and 2 the workers probably wouldn't want to make it for him because of hia prejudice views against them

Where is a source for your claim? It sounds like it came directly from this book that is at best a very questionable source to use to study Walt Disney and at worst an outright fabrication of his life that had details about him faked, like him being an illegitimate child of a woman in southern Spain before being adopted by his real parents (debunked by Snopes here: http://www.s.../illegit.asp).
