Phineas and Ferb: Spot the Diff was a two-hour long special that aired on August 8th, 2008, early in the run of Phineas and Ferb. In this event, certain episodes were altered slightly. The changes were minor, such as changing a character's hairstyle or changing their color scheme. Viewers were challenged to find the total number of such differences in an episode.

Found

Recently, the original creator of this post was contacted by someone from El Salvador, saying that the lost episodes from the "Spot the Diff" marathon are available on a Latin-American website called pyflatino.com. The episodes are only available in Spanish but are in good condition

Still from "Spot the Diff"

The episodes included in the Marathon are "The Fast and the Phineas" (English and Spanish), "Toy to the World" (Spanish), "Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror" (Spanish), and "It's a Mud, Mud, Mud, Mud World" (Spanish)

Update

All episodes were uploaded to YouTube by user the_driver_2001 and were available in Spanish only. Those have since been taken town for copyright. TheZapster (Bootleg Frog on the Wiki) uploaded all the episodes to Vid.me in English.

Oh my goodness, I actually remember watching this and seeing it. Can't believe it's considered lost... One keen thing I remember is that the special was called Spot the Doof or something like that.. I can be wrong. All based on memory.

There were apparently four altered ones that got aired. At least one of them, 'The Fast and the Ferbulous' (Originally "Fast and the Phineas") is hosted on a random Georgian videohost

http://www.m...ge/v/1574797

The others currently missing are: "Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Error!" "It's a Mud World After All" "Toy to You and Me"

There's old Youtube links for the first two linked on a blog but the channels were terminated. Didn't have any luck with the last one. There also seems to be torrent listings but those are always iffy to check.

screenshots do appear in the Phineas & Ferb Wiki page about this special, there's even a video with some more images but in the video almost all the images have filters in them.

brUH I actually remembered "live streaming" this even back when I had my own "mogulus" (now known as livestream) channel. I'm pretty sure I did but I don't remember if I ever inserted a VHS as I was running low on VHS back in the day (and I would mostly start to record using a USB capture card).

I'll need to eventually check eVERYWHERE and try to remember about it.

I remember seeing a moustache drawn on Phineas' face during the opening during this event. I was about 6 years old at the time and it was when I was in a phase where the only shows I would watch were Kick Buttowski, Kid vs. Kat, and this very show.

I remember seeing this, sometime in late 2013. There was a segment with two pictures of Doctor Doof, in which it was his beach photo, except he was missing his labcoat. I think I still have it recorded on my Sky+ Planner...

I think this is a mandella effect. I vaguely remember this only being 45 mins longs, and being called "Spot the doof"

If I recall correctly, Spot the Doof is a marathon that just included Doofenshmirtz hidden in some scenes. Spot the Diff included other differences such as a pig being changed from pink to green.

I remember watching this! I know that the "reward" for spotting the differences and inputting them on the website was just a sneak peak of an episode. I was really disappointed.

This may have been what got me interested in Phineas and Ferb, as I started watching the show around that time and they were showing a marathon. I did not realize for the longest times that these were altered episodes.

I wonder if and when someone will splice the English audio in the Spanish videos. I'm assuming the audio would remain the same for the Spot the Diff episodes right?
