This feels so familiar to me... I can somewhat remember a show with penguin puppets, and I remember that the main character called his mother "Big Penguin" for whatever reason. Maybe I'm thinking of something else...

I used to watch this all the time. Hell, I even had VHS Tapes full of episodes. Sadly, if I recall correctly, those cassettes got destroyed.

I remember watching these a lot especially before The Magic School Bus when it was on TLC. It's kind of sad how those shows that were on the Ready Set Learn block are arguably more educational than the shows on TLC nowadays. Why did they get rid of that block?

I watched this a lot when I was younger. Never did I imagine that one day some of it would be considered lost.

Ah... the days when I'd wake up before school and watch hi-5, Peep, and this show on the Ready Set Learn block.

I vaguely remember a puppet episode involving trains. I believe Paz was riding a toy train. And when he went through a tunnel made of blankets, the show became animated as he entered an imaginary world. While he was there Paz would pick up his friends from wired places.

I think the moral was that it can be fun to imagine stuff. Since I think Paz was complaining that playing with a toy train wasn't as fun as riding a real train.

Don't forget Magic School Bus. I have no idea why TLC removed that block, it was probably the most educational programming TLC ever had in my opinion, or at least compared to nowadays

Oh my god, I'm hoping the one with the dead bird has resurfaced (that episode killed me as a kid).

My version of nostalgia is very morbid, apparently.
