Bill Cosby 77 is an unreleased 2014 Netflix Original stand-up comedy special starring comedian Bill Cosby. Said special was filmed before a live audience at the San Francisco Jazz Center in California on July 12, 2014, the day of Cosby's 77th birthday.

The 60 minute special contained, according to a brief description from Netflix, "wisdom and hilarious insights about [Cosby's] childhood, first loves and parenthood."

No footage or trailers of Bill Cosby 77 exist online, and the special is not slated for a release of any kind.

Delay and Cancellation

In August 2014, Netflix announced a release date of November 28th, 2014 for the special, intending for it to be viewed the day after Thanksgiving in the US.

On November 18th, 2014, celebrity Janice Dickinson added her name to the list of women Cosby had allegedly sexually assaulted and raped. Just hours later, Netflix announced their decision to delay Bill Cosby 77 indefinitely, only stating"At this time we are postponing the launch of the new stand up comedy special 'Bill Cosby 77.'"

Finally, in July of 2015, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos confirmed that Netflix had cancelled the special, stating "I don't think it's appropriate to release that."
