After AB Groupe completed his alternate english dubs for Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT, they decide to produce there own english dub for the various movies and TV specials. However, YTV, the channel that broadcast the AB Groupe Dub of the franchise opted not to broadcast them. This meant that AB Groupe wasn't obligated to make the dubs with The Ocean Group or Blue Water. They took a much cheaper route and they produce the dubs in France with english and british voice actors living in the country.

These dubs are infamous among the Dragon Ball fandom due to they're bad performance, arkward scripts, bad translations and strange pronunciation of character names. (For example, Krillin is named "Klirin" and the Saiyans are called "Space Warriors".)

Since these dubs we're made mostly for TV broadcast, not all of them had been released on Home Video. Three of the movies we're released in the UK but future releases we're canceled due to poor sales. Most of the DBZ stuff was released on DVD in the Netherlands by Bridge Entertainment. However, there stil some movies that haven't been released on home video, and some of them don't have Big Green dubs confirmed, but are suspected to exist.
