The Wacko Saturday Morning Preview and Other Good Stuff Special is a 1977 one-hour prime-time special that was a comedy carnival with music and variety combined in a wacky welcome to the four then-new and six returning Saturday morning shows on CBS the Thursday night before their premiere two days later. Returning series that would share in the special salute were The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour, In the News, The Batman/Tarzan Adventure Hour, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, The Secrets of Isis, and The CBS Saturday Film Festival.[1] The special aired in September 8, 1977.

The special starred the cast from the short-lived children's television series Wacko along with the special guests Soupy Sales, The Sylvers and the Dwight Twilley Band. The hour of shenanigans featured the famous Star Wars character Darth Vader and cameo appearances by Marty Allen, Jim Backus, Harry Nilsson, Gary Owens, and Loretta Swit.[2]
