Sketch Up is a 2010 Italian stand-up comedy show, created by Carmen Acquati, that premiered on Disney XD in Italy on November 22nd, 2010. The show ran for two seasons, with the second one premiering on November 22nd, 2011.[1]<ref>A tvblog article on Sketch UpRetrieved Apr 08 '24<ref>

Premise

The show, inspired by the more mainstream Zelig, features many young aspiring comedians performing various sketches, usually 5 per 25-minute episode. Notable ones include Mattia Falci, imitator of Giovanni Muciaccia from Art Attack, and Carolina Tommasi, who played Patty, a parody of the main character of Patito Feo (which was airing on Disney Channel around that time). The show was hosted by Matteo Leoni and Romolo Guerreri (Tinelli and Nico from Disney Channel Italy's Quelli dell'intervallo). In the second season they're joined by Walter Leonardi, from Life Bites - Pillole di vita.

Availability

In the years after it ended, the show slowly faded into obscurity, as it has never been rereleased. It is unlikely that it will ever be reaired again, as Disney XD Italy was shut down in October 2019.

It is unclear how many episodes of the show were actually produced, as the information is inconsistent between sources: while the first season is known to have 18 episodes, the articles promoting season two feature different episode counts (either 18 or 13).<ref>A tvblog article on Sketch UpRetrieved Apr 08 '24<ref><ref>MondoTeen article on Sketch UpRetrieved Apr 08 '24<ref>

A few clips of the show are available online, but it is mostly unknown what episodes they come from, aside from the ones uploaded by Mattia Falci, who uploaded his performances from the first four episodes.
