A Son Unique is the third and final album of late rapper O’l Dirty Bastard (real name Russell Tyrone Jones). The album has gone through numerous release delays following the rapper’s death from a drug overdose on November 13th, 2004.

The album was then set to be released on November 7th, 2006, but was cancelled by Roc-a-Fella Records (ODB’s record label). The album was once again set to be released on November 13th, 2009 to commemorate the fifth anniversary of ODB's death, but was eventually delayed again.

Despite not being officially released, the album has become available for download.
