I didn't realize this show was lost. I don't know much about the original VHS releases. However, I am aware that some episodes of "Once Upon a Tree" were repackaged into the Video Buddy, which was a kids edutainment console released in 1999. The console used VHS tapes and the games were simply the full episodes of various children's shows with "commercial breaks" where the Video Buddy character would show up and ask questions about the part you just watched. I don't know how many "Once Upon a Tree" episodes were re-released in this form, but I personally own Video Buddy rereleases of "The Carrot Caper", "Can't Wait To Paint", and "What if the Dinosaurs Came Back?".

Again, as far as I know, the entire original versions of these episode should be on these tapes. I will digitize mine soon. In the meantime, there are a few "Once Upon A Tree" original VHS releases on eBay if anyone wants to grab them.

EDIT: Just went to an archive of the Video Buddy Site https://web.archive.org/web/20011023222718/http://videobuddy.com:80/title_tree.html Looks like these are the only three that they did for "Once Upon A Tree". I have a video digitzer, so I'll try to get these uploaded by the end of the week.
