Executive producer Bill Freiberger stated on twitter "Theoretically, it could be from a deleted scene, it's definitely not from a scrapped episode. No episode would have been scrapped this far in". But despite the fact that there are no cancelled episodes of sonic boom, there could be other deleted scenes that are lost.
