i’m a younger person that had experienced the revolutionary period of the internet at the tail end of the 2000’s and early 2010’s. thus i stumbled upon this website in it’s prime club form, and frankly, it shaped my internet world for a while. below this i’m going to reminisce on a bunch of random details that collect in my mind so only consume if you’re in the mood for a nostalgic trip!

i remembered the big time rush tower (the bottom intro floor and then the upstairs dance floor with interactive tile game), the eco room with so many different rooms like a tree house and a skatepark that you could earn a couple currency (i can’t believe i don’t remember what it was?) for entering an email that was supposed to be your parents. i found it quite comedic to come up with the oddest emails to enter for the free points. i remember the clothes you could buy, especially the KCA inspired pieces like katy perry’s slimed hair, lady gaga’s and nicki minaj’s dresses, etc. i remember even the fanboy and chumchum as well as the penguins rooms, which were more 3d imagery than the typical 2d feel of the site, as well as the spongebob boardwalk, which was a place i could simply lose track of time in with all the minigames. i didnt socialize much back online then, but i do recall having individual rooms that you could edit to your liking with the items you owned. i remember how cluttered my room was with unique promotional items that could be earned by visiting a place or playing games. you could also buy nick inspired room items, and i remember the ever popular remake of carly’s room (or some imitation with the same furniture but different locations), and incorporations here or there of other random items and such. i also was a huge fan of the movie the boy who cried werewolf, and i remember attempting to access a world based on it with my character dressed in a werewolf costume and the page simply being blank, and the frustration that caused on little ol me, older me now reflecting that nick probably just took the thing down after inactivity (because i was trying to access it probably a year or so after release) and forgot some traces that i had stumbled upon. this game!!!! is a pivotal part of my earlier online childhood. and it is so disheartening to find out it is completely lost :( anyway i made this account simply to comment on this article so reply if u yearn for this website as deeply as i do and we can wallow in shared pity
