Evidence of the show's pilot

A pilot was made in 1986. It's listed in a random database of outsourced animation - https://digilander.libero.it/dottor_vaffa/ - as having been animated by Mook in Japan. The archived Mook website does indeed list the pilot in under their 1986 projects (the Japanese reads Promotional film "Tiffany Break", according to Google Translate). http://web.archive.org/web/20070921012929/http://mookanimation.co.jp/company2.html

Whether or not any surviving material from the pilot still exists is another story, but it looks like one episode of this almost certainly got made.
