Debunked?

I think the initial post plus the video is all that was made of the pasta, first considering that's literally what the found article says. The replies on thread #20945983 and #20834430 were posted relatively close to each other, and both claimed the "full" story was on the /x/ wiki, now proven to not be true which makes me think it was just some random anon trolling. Thread #22282276 only mentions what happens in the initial post, stating that the only piece of information left about the creatures was the statement "I killed a Camerahead", along with a photograph from a later thread which was probably just inspired and not actually a part of an "expansive story".

The initial post was probably popular enough on /x/ that people started speculating/asking about a continuation, which is how it got oversaturated and put on the Bullshit category. It was also marked as a stub ever since the pasta was posted (https://web.archive.org/web/20090819082430/http://x.datchan.org:80/index.php?title=Category:Stub), showing that there really wasn't a lot of information to work with. The PDF sent by Foxlet shows only around 5 lines from the original article are missing which could not be much.

Perhaps someone did pick up on the story and continue it after April 2010, but I doubt it.
