FlashPoint Curation of the Iron Cross movie website

So, I'm sure plenty of the people on LMW are aware of Blue Maxima's FlashPoint Project. The whole idea is to preserve Flash-based content (games, animations, etc) as well as content for other web-based technologies. The original website of Iron Cross doesn't work correctly in the Internet Archive. Originally, the website would load a SWF file, play a short flash animation, then play a video of the trailer, then finish the animation and present the user with a set of links. Two of these links go to external sites, while one was meant to load another SWF file. However, if you try the page now in the Internet Archive, you just get a blank page. No animation or video will play.

The reason that the site doesn't work is because the original video file was not archived by the Internet archive. Therefore, when the first SWF file loads, it cannot find the necessary file and crashes. However, it is easy to take an MP4 video and convert it into the FLV format that the flash player is expecting. Since we know that it played the trailer, I took the trailer from YouTube in the MP4 format, converted it, and built a FlashPoint curation of the webpage. In my curation, the animation plays, the trailer plays, and the links come up. However, we are missing whatever the webpage used as its background, as the image was not archived anywhere. Also, the link that loads the separate Flash file won't work because that second flash file was never archived anywhere.

So, with my curation, we have the website partially working. That may be the best that we ever get due to the Internet Archive missing the files. My curation is not in the current release of FlashPoint, and I don't know if/when they will add it. It still has to go through their review process. If someone wants to see the website working, you can grab my curation from the FlashPoint Discord server in their #animation-curations channel.
