Thor cameo?

Something I always wondered about was if Thor had a cameo cut from the ending. There's a Reddit thread with people mentioning the Thor cameo was on the game's website at one point, apparently never making it even to the pre 9/11 version of the game. I don't remember seeing it on the game's website back in the day but I never visited the site before it was released as a kid so it would've probably been removed by then.
