Here Comes Mumfie (partially found puppet TV series; 1975)
In 1975, Mary Turner and John Read adapted Katherine Tozer's Mumfie books into a television series entitled Here Comes Mumfie, using puppets to tell the stories.
Only half of an episode has been uploaded to YouTube in its original English, along one episode dubbed in Persian. The theme song to the show appears on a few children's CDs. Nobody knows why the show has never been re-released, possibly due to the Britt Allcroft animated series adaptation, Magic Adventures of Mumfie, becoming more popular and making this older series "dated".
Interestingly, some plots of the 70s episodes, such as "Things That Go Bang!" and "Scarecrow's Instant Birthday", were recycled into episodes of the Britt Allcroft series, and Nero's personality was also used for The Black Cat character.

VHS release
A very rare VHS exists: 2 Hours of Fun with... The Munch Bunch and Mumfie that was originally released in April of 1983. It contains 6 episodes of Here Comes Mumfie (ep. 31, 35, 27, 28, 29 and 30) along 6 episodes of another rare puppet-string series, The Munch Bunch.
A copy of the VHS used to be sold on eBay for 75 British pounds back in 2015, but its listing ended and it has not resurfaced since.
In 2023, YouTube channel ADC TV Collection uploaded all the episodes from the 2 Hours of Fun with... The Munch Bunch and Mumfie VHS. They said in a YouTube comment they got it on Ebay in the early 2000s in a job lot of kids tapes, they also saw another copy around the same time for a higher price.
