Mischief City (partially found Canadian animated children's TV series; 2005)
Mischief City is a Canadian animated children's series created by Peter Moss. It is based on the book of the same name by Tim Wynne-Jones.
The series follows eight-year-old Winchell Adams as he travels to the extraordinary world of Mischief City. There, he is accompanied by his friend Maxine and her two monsters Hey Hey and Mr. Cube. Each episode has the gang facing an unusual problem, which is often a direct result of Maxine's troublesome older brother Duane.
Availability
Mischief City first premiered on YTV on January 4th, 2005 and ended on December 22 of the same year,[1] with reruns lasting until around September 2007. The show also aired on Nickelodeon in Latin America,[2] Pop in the UK,[3] Ici Radio-Canada Télé in French-speaking Canada, and Okto in Singapore.[4]
As of 2024, only 5 out of the 52 produced episodes have resurfaced online, with 4 of them coming from a screener DVD for the series and one being a partial recording from YTV. There is also a showreel posted on YouTube by series composer George Guerrette which contains clips from several missing episodes.
