Monsters, Inc. is one of Pixar's original animated features. It tells the tale of two monsters, Mike Wazowski and James P Sullivan, trying to help a human who escaped their dimension to get back home. After Pixar had ended its 7 movie contract with Disney, a script was being produced for a sequel to Monsters Inc., known as Monsters, Inc. 2, Lost in Scaredise. While the movie never came to fruition, there was a prequel made over a decade later titled Monsters University. However, between these two installments, there were a series of comic books that ran which gave readers a deeper look into the Monster World.

In 2009, Boom! Studios published a four-issue comic book series called Monsters, Inc: Laugh Factory which expanded upon the Monster World and showed how the company was now being run by Sully. The four issues are readable online at various websites such as readcomiconline.to and through the Google Books service. However, in 2012-2013 there were three more comic books published by Marvel.

In 2012, Marvel Comics released a two-part series of the films in comic form. This was followed up in 2013 by a comic book named Monsters Inc.: The HumanWeen Party and was released on February 6th, 2013. Description from the official Marvel website reads:

An all-new Monsters, Inc. tale! Mike goes into panic mode when he learns of an unplanned visit from his mother the day after the big bash! It’s that time of year again: Humanween! Monstropolis’ version of Halloween — where monsters dress up as humans — comes but once a year, and this time the annual party is at Mike and Sulley’s home.

What is interesting is that this was printed in a book also published by Marvel called Monsters, Inc.: Scary Stories. This included the latter three comics, as well as another comic called Monsters, Inc.: The Perfect Date. This information comes from the book's Goodreads page in one of the comments, however, is not mentioned anywhere on the Marvel website.

The compilation is currently listed on a few websites, such as Amazon, however, the original comics are nowhere to be found, and have no presence online whatsoever.
