Status: Partially Lost

nanosounds is a doujin label founded by Namco composer Hiroshi Okubo in 1999. It consists of fellow Namco composers such as Tetsukazu Nakanishi and Koji Nakagawa, as well as a few composers outside of the company such as Sega's Hideaki Kobayashi.

Starting in 2004, both nanosounds and SuperSweep, a music company founded by former Namco composer Shinji Hosoe, collaboratively produce a series of CDs titled Nanosweep, containing original tracks by composers from both labels. The last solo nanosounds album was FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, released in 2006. A CD consisting of two tracks, nanoDEMO#1, was released in 2007.

Availability

Most albums and EPs published by nanosounds have been found, with the exception of DEMO, Don't speak, Listen., and Steal The Scene. While the former is completely lost, all tracks from the latter two albums were included on Don't STEAL, although most of these were shortened, rendering the original uncut versions lost.

Albums from the Nanosweep series, as well as albums containing tracks from composers represented by nanosounds, are not listed here.
