Our House is a British series that was broadcast on the ITV channel from 1960 to 1962. Our Home was created by Norman Hudis, who was also the show's lead writer. The program was produced by Ernest Maxin. The episodes were filmed in front of an audience live at Teddington Studios. The theme music was composed by Maxin and performed by Johnny Gregory.

Plot

Nine people - two couples and five individuals - find themselves at an estate agents in desperate need of a place to live. Since no one has the right amount of money, they decide to collect it and buy one large house together. Georgina is a librarian who is forced to keep quiet at work but is noisy at home. Simon is a lovable loner who works in the local council tariff office, while Daisy quickly moves from one job to the next. ordon is a law student and Herbert is a shy clerk at one bank. Captain Illiffe is a retired Navy captain and his wife is a violinist. Stephen and Marcia Hatton are newlyweds.

Availability

Of a total of 39 episodes, only three have survived in the archives.[1] These are it: "Simply Simon, A Thin Time and Love to Georgina, all from the first series.

Three surviving episodes of Our House were released on DVD on 16 July 2012.[2]
