The Nutshack (found Filipino animated series; 2007-2011)
The Nutshack was an animated sitcom created by Ramon Lopex and Jessie Hernandez. Airing on Myx TV in the United States and Myx in the Philippines, it is notable for being the first animated series made for Filipino-Americans. The series concerns the daily lives of the Filipino-American Phil, a native to San Francisco, and his cousin Jack, a Filipino immigrant, as they have numerous crude encounters across the fictitious Daily City. The series ran for two seasons, one in 2007 and another in 2011, before being cancelled. It is rather infamous for its crude animation, reliance on crude humor, and a theme song that many have described as annoying due to it consisting almost entirely of the phrase "It's the Nutshack!" and a difficult-to-understand rap. The show gained an ironic following in mid-2016 due to its theme song being commonly used in video game music parody tracks by the YouTube channel SiIvaGunner.
In 2014, season 1 was uploaded to YouTube and Season 2 clips resurfaced on Vimeo. The entirety of the second season, in addition to the first season, can be viewed on Tubi through an account.
