Troika (lost Frederick Hobbs comedy film; 1969)
Troika is a 1969 psychedelic comedy film about a bug man who leads a civilization of blue-colored beings. The film was directed by Fredrick Hobbs, known best for his no-budget horror films.
As advertised in the Los Angeles Free Press, the film was released around February 7th, 1969, through Emerson Films and played at the Granada Theater in Beverly Hills. There have also been claims that it aired on PBS sometime during the 1970s, but these have not been verified. Locations of film copies are unknown, but it's likely that Hobbs has at least one.
