Verne Troyer (January 1, 1969 – April 21, 2018) was an American actor, comedian, YouTuber, and stunt performer, best known for his role of Mini-Me in the Austin Powers film series.[1]
During Easter weekend in 2008, Troyer filmed a sex tape with his then girlfriend, Ranae Shrider. The video was recorded in Beverly Hills, California, and Shrider's hometown of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.[2] After shooting the video, Shrider turned the footage over to TMZ which was then acquired by Kevin Blatt who then attempted to sell the video.[3] Troyer sued TMZ, Blatt and adult video distributor SugarDVD for the invasion of privacy and copyright infringement.[4]
Status
Because of this lawsuit, the tape is very difficult to find and only an age-restricted snippet is available on YouTube.
