Ślizgawka w Łazienkach (roughly translated to "Łazienki park Slide") is possibly the first Polish movie ever made in the History of Polish Cinema. It was Directed by Kazimierz Prószyński between 1894 and 1896. Information about this movie are very scarce and the only proof of its existence are Descriptions made by the Polish Press and four Frames that were reproducted in the Warsaw Press. The movie was about a group of Polish Ice Skaters sliding around the slide of the Warsaw Ice Skating Society.

Legacy

Due to history of this movie's direction, it's highly unlikely that it will be recovered due to how much Poland suffered throughout both World Wars and the Cold War as apart of the Warsaw Pact. In addition to that, Polish People's Republic was mostly influenced by the Soviet Russia that was best known from censoring Media, Polish Culture and its Intelligence. The Movie was shown alot of times on Film screenings that Prószyński organized in first Warsaw, then around the whole Poland.
