Formed in 2004 in Franklin, Tennessee, Paramore has seen many changes to its lineup. Beginning with the departure of Josh and Zac Farro in 2010, though Zac would later return before the writing of their fifth and latest album After Laughter.

First Video

"Ain't It Fun" comes off Paramore's fourth album Paramore referred to as the self-titled album by fans. The self-titled album was released on April 5th, 2013, and went on to be their most acclaimed album. "Ain't It Fun" would become the fourth single off the self-titled album. The first video would go into production in July of 2013. The director of the scrapped music video is confirmed to be Jonathan Desbiens from Alternative Press, a music magazine that is dedicated to rock music. Jory Lee Cordy has released at least one hundred photos from the unreleased video (these images are available in the gallery section).

The photos that are currently available come from Paramore fan sites that have been keeping up with the band for over ten years. They include many that show off the group, the extras, and the inside interior of the filming location.^[1]

At the time of the video's production, the band included Hayley Williams, Taylor York, and Jeremy Davis. Davis is known for being Paramore's longtime bassist up until he departed from the group on December 14th, 2015, after claims of being unfairly paid came up. Paramore would be a duo for the next few years.

Existence and Cancellation

Hayley Williams herself posted an update on Paramore's website on August 8th, 2013, confirming that they were shooting a music video for Ain't It Fun.^[2]

To many fans dissatisfaction, Hayley would post a blog on Paramore's site a few months later stating:

"We posted a picture a few months ago from behind the scenes of a video we shot for our song, “Ain’t It Fun” … Turns out, the process of making and completing this video has been well, not fun. ZING! To keep things short and BS-free, we were not happy with where this video was headed and ultimately, made the decision to pull it..."^[3]

Second Video

After the first version was scrapped, Paramore decided to drop the now-famous second version of the video that features Williams, York, and Davis in their hometown of Franklin breaking ten world records.
