Synopsis

The series follows a green lizard named Henry (voiced by Eric Meyers) , as taught the audience about animals from different time periods, climates and locations with the help of an off screen narrator (voiced by Tom Clarke-Hill in the US airing and Nigel Greaves in the UK). Each episode would also be accompanied by short animated gag segments, often tied to the episode's topic.

Broadcast History

The show also aired in Russia and has a Russian dub. Only the pilot "Tropical Birds" is available in full in Russian. The episode "Animal Records" was found partially in Russian, meaning 51 episodes of the show in Russian are lost due to the show never having a proper home media release in the country. Despite the show's home media release being mostly restricted to VHS, merchandise such as PC games, books and board games were made.
