'''''Astrology with Squidward''''' is a 2000 Nickelodeon series of interstitial shorts, where, during different times of the year, Squidward Tentacles would explain the different parts of the Zodiac. The Zodiac symbols that are in the shorts are represented by characters from ''SpongeBob SquarePants''. SpongeBob, as Sagittarius and Patrick as Taurus are redesigned to look like the symbols, although Mr. Krabs, Sandals, and two Ambulance Fish are represented in their normal designs as Cancer, Pisces, and Gemini, respectively.

'''''Astrology with Squidward''''' is a 2000 Nickelodeon series of interstitial shorts where, during different times of the year during the original airing, Squidward Tentacles would explain the different parts of the Zodiac. The Zodiac symbols that are represented in the shorts, however, are just crudely designed versions of the main characters (like SpongeBob as Sagittarius and Patrick as Taurus), although Mr. Krabs is represented in his normal design as Cancer, and two Ambulance Fish are represented in their normal design as Gemini.
Nickelodeon stopped airing the shorts on their main network in 2001, but they later reappeared on Nicktoons in 2002, where they continued airing until 2005. Having last aired at a time when both recording television and Nicktoons' availability weren't as prevalent as they are now and due to the series' lack of information online, several variants and entire shorts were rumored/speculated to be missing.

Despite the shorts becoming nearly as popular as its predecessor, Nickelodeon made the decision to pull them from the air in 2001, but later reappeared on their sister channel, Nicktoons, in 2002, where they continued to enjoy airtime up until 2005. Having last aired at a time when recording television wasn't as prevalent as it is now, several variants and entire shorts are missing. Six English shorts, six Russian-dubbed shorts, and a Polish-dubbed short have surfaced. The two shorts that are completely missing are Libra (Squidward) and Virgo (Pearl).
==The "Missing" Shorts==
Though it was later confirmed that the six shorts already found in English were the only ones to exist, there were popular rumors that two other shorts (Libra [Squidward] and Virgo [Pearl]) exist, but the only evidence provided for their existence were anonymous Wikipedia contributions, with some people believing that those two shorts were never made in the first place, which later turned out to be true.

There were also rumors that Aquarius, Capricorn, Aries, and Scorpio shorts also existed, as they would complete the zodiac. However, the only source of this rumor was a German Nickelodeon Wiki page on the series.
The surviving English, Russian, and Polish shorts are listed below.

On February 17th, 2019, a Russian admin on Encyclopedia SpongeBobia named Kandy Katie added information to the wiki's ''Astrology with Squidward'' article that created a new lead. The user's edits added information about the closing seconds of a 2005 Nickelodeon Germany promo for ''SpongeBob SquarePants'', in which a small snippet of Squidward in SpongeBob's house wearing his turban was shown. The scene, given its low animation quality and background design, appears to come from ''SpongeBob's Nicktoon Summer Splash'', a programming block that Nickelodeon aired during the summers of 2000 and 2001. The discovery of this clip has increased the possibility of more segments existing, but this is not fully confirmed, as the clip has no audio and is allocated to a very small section of the frame, revealing very few details.<ref>[https://spongebob.fandom.com/wiki/Astrology_with_Squidward?oldid=1916074 Kandy Katie's edit on February 17th, 2019, revealing the existence of the promo.] Retrieved 05 May '19</ref> A YouTube user named SSTEAS made a video about this in March, but he did not credit the user for the information.<ref>[https://youtu.be/mAXiuYJHIYc The video by SSTEAS on the new lead and the promo.] Retrieved 21 Mar '19</ref>

Astrology with Squidward is a 2000 Nickelodeon series of interstitial shorts, where, during different times of the year, Squidward Tentacles would explain the different parts of the Zodiac. The Zodiac symbols that are in the shorts are represented by characters from SpongeBob SquarePants. SpongeBob, as Sagittarius and Patrick as Taurus are redesigned to look like the symbols, although Mr. Krabs, Sandals, and two Ambulance Fish are represented in their normal designs as Cancer, Pisces, and Gemini, respectively.

The "Missing" Shorts

Though it was later confirmed that the six shorts already found in English were the only ones to exist, there were popular rumors that two other shorts (Libra [Squidward] and Virgo [Pearl]) exist, but the only evidence provided for their existence were anonymous Wikipedia contributions, with some people believing that those two shorts were never made in the first place, which later turned out to be true.

There were also rumors that Aquarius, Capricorn, Aries, and Scorpio shorts also existed, as they would complete the zodiac. However, the only source of this rumor was a German Nickelodeon Wiki page on the series.

On February 17th, 2019, a Russian admin on Encyclopedia SpongeBobia named Kandy Katie added information to the wiki's Astrology with Squidward article that created a new lead. The user's edits added information about the closing seconds of a 2005 Nickelodeon Germany promo for SpongeBob SquarePants, in which a small snippet of Squidward in SpongeBob's house wearing his turban was shown. The scene, given its low animation quality and background design, appears to come from SpongeBob's Nicktoon Summer Splash, a programming block that Nickelodeon aired during the summers of 2000 and 2001. The discovery of this clip has increased the possibility of more segments existing, but this is not fully confirmed, as the clip has no audio and is allocated to a very small section of the frame, revealing very few details.[1] A YouTube user named SSTEAS made a video about this in March, but he did not credit the user for the information.[2]

On April 8th, 2019, Vincent Waller confirmed that no other shorts exist other than the ones that have already been posted online (i.e. Cancer, Taurus, Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, and Leo).[3]

On February 2nd, 2020, the official Spongebob Squarepants YouTube channel uploaded a compilation of all six previously found clips, interspersed with clips from the TV show. However, they cut out a lot of parts.
