Created and originally screened in 1998 as a part of Nickelodeon's Short Films by Short People series (which, as the name implies, showcased short films created primarily by children) was Attack of the Giant Vulture; the 2 minute short was aired quite frequently from 1998 up until the early 2000s, after which it fell into obscurity. Despite the short's intended comical nature, many people report being particularly frightened by the short during their childhood.
Plot
The short sees a group of kids being chased around Chinatown, New York by a giant vulture (played by another child, albeit in a vulture suit), who continually attempts to eat them. When one of the children is backed into a corner, the protagonists reverse the situation by defeathering, capturing, and ultimately cooking the vulture, triumphantly holding up their knives and forks as the short ends.
