BeyWheelz: Powered by Beyblade is a Japanese-Canadian anime spinoff of the Beyblade franchise produced by SynergySP and Nelvana. The series debuted in August 2012 and ran for 13 episodes. It was created to fulfill a gap in episode orders caused by Beyblade: Metal Fury's shortened season and to promote a new line of toys from Hasbro.[1]
BeyWheelz is the first in a trio of Beyblade spinoffs produced for the western market. To date, it has yet to be released in Japan.
