Bobby's Girl (lost footage from unfinished animated film; 1980s)
Bobby's Girl is an unfinished animated film produced by Ralph Bakshi and John Kricfalusi. It was to be a parody of 80's teen films like 16 Candles and The Breakfast Club, though the film never reached completion, due to Tri-Star (who had previously purchased rights to the film) cancelling its production following the firing of Jeff Sagansky, Tri-Star's former president.
Artwork for the film can be seen in Bakshi's book Unfiltered: The Complete Ralph Bakshi, as well as on his official website,[1] and on the blog of animator Jim Smith,[2] who also worked on the film.
