The show ran into some legal trouble when in 2008, Boston Globe worker and former art student Timothy McGee filed a lawsuit against Andre 3000 alleging that the idea for ''Class of 3000'' was taken from McGee's failed pitch "The Music Factory of the 90's" back in 1997. Once the lawsuit was settled, full episodes were re-added exclusively to iTunes. However, five episodes were not included and originally could not be found anywhere in their original English versions. Since then, four of these episode dubs have resurfaced, but the dub of the episode "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yeti" is still missing.
