Lie detectors are not accurate and are considered a pseudo science. This man was demonized because of what was probally a simple heartrate monitor detecting an increased heartrate or another instrument measuring a change that can be easily manipulated (I mean even if he did cheat those comments were nasty and inappropriate though yeesh.)
