My parents went to this concert and whoo-boy, from the description they gave, it was a complete and utter debacle. Now this story may've been exaggerated in my mind from the many years the story has been told. I believe the show started considerably later than when they scheduled. I want to say it was hours but I could be wrong. He had to be physically carried out and he was a slurring mess. Eventually, he was "rolling around the stage" but after a few slurring off-key renditions of songs that according to my parents you could barely recognize due to Stapp's inebriated state, the show was over.
Would you expect anything less from band that can be summed up as Pearl Jam with a dash of Jesus?
