I don't know what program you used. I assume you probably just simply opened up the .VOB files. Why not just open the .ISO image in a media player program and play it from there? It worked when I opened the .ISO image on a media player program in DVD player mode, and I was able to rip the DVD using HandBrake to convert the video files to MP4. In fact, I posted the shorts from this DVD to archive.org.
I assume you probably just simply opened up the .VOB files, I got the same thing when I opened the .VOB files in VLC Media Player. Why not just open the .ISO image in a media player program and play it from there? It worked when I opened the .ISO image on a media player program in DVD player mode, and I was able to rip the DVD using HandBrake to convert the video files to MP4.
