Another potential reason why the series hasn't seen a commercial release (one that this article fails to mention) could be that the original broadcast masters may not exist. It is known that when Hallmark acquired the Filmation library from L'Oreal, they created inferior PAL digital prints for foreign distribution and apparently discarded the original film elements. Hallmark ONLY created digital transfers for shows they deemed to have commercial value. Sadly, this show was probably not considered to have any commercial appeal for a modern audience and Hallmark may have very well destroyed the only known prints.
