Blowfly Girl [Lost Websites/Blog Entries/Photos; NSFW/NSFL]
This would be one for the ages with the NSFW/NSFL sections.
Blowfly Girl is infamous when it comes to shocking Internet media, and is possibly one of the original or widest spread copypastas ever. It's the name of a blogger who has documented and discussed her paraphilia for maggots and general decay under the story "My Maggot Story", which can be traced back to GeoCities. Blowfly Girl has gone through various incarnations and blogs where she would talk about her fantasies and general life, many of which would be hidden behind an adult content warning or be outright terminated/deleted by the admins of the host site. The stories in question are often quite graphic in nature and aren't for the faint of heart.
Blowfly Girl aka "Deborah" has addressed in a blog entry from August 2009 that Multiply (a website she posted to previously) had terminated her account around the same time that she lost her job. She states that's where she moved all of her blog entries and photos to, and the only copies she had were on her work PC. In the same entry, she talks about how impressed she was to see that her story went viral and was shared around just about everywhere. However, the other entries and photos weren't - which means that they're presumably long gone and aren't archived.
On October 22nd 2019, Justin Whang (Whang!) made a video discussing the history of Blowfly Girl, and in it, he seems to confirm many of the things she said about it appearing like certain content is now lost. He states that upon going through the Wayback Machine, those entries and websites weren't archived in any way, so unless someone backed them up, we can assume that they're not going to turn up. This is especially true for her old work PC since it's been ten years, and we can assumed was wiped clean when she left. On the topic of the photos, these are also lost. While we can't say for sure they'd absolutely confirm her stories, they would at least suggest that she was in close proximity to dead animals at the time of things taking place.
