Legendary cartoon director Tex Avery directed multiple commercials during the 1950s and 60s during the dark age of animation. While most of them can be found, some of them are lost.

Commercials

According to the 1975 issue of Film Comment magazine, Avery directed a series of commercials for the bug spray brand Raid, produced by Wanrer veteran Jack Zander, where the spray became numerous instruments of death. The Raid commercial and the Kool Aid commercials can be found online. His earliest commercials was for a toothpaste brand called Pepsodent. [1]
