Zella Day is an American singer/songwriter who gained popularity with her debut studio album Kicker in 2015.[1]

Between November 7th, 2014 to February 10th, 2016, she was the subject of an online documentary series titled DayxDay created and directed by Giannenio Salucci and published on Zella Day's official YouTube channel.

Premise

Each video is a collection of clips of the artist in her everyday life of being a musician. Each episode features a song sometimes in line with Day's current releases, a cover, or an unknown song.

Episodes

There are 10 known episodes with only 8 of them still viewable online. Each episode is about a minute long.

Journal Entries 6 and 8 are considered to be lost since they are not featured on Day's YouTube channel.

On December 13th, 2020, the Vimeo page of the director Giannenio Salucci was found to have a tenth episode which was not on Day's official YouTube Channel.

Playlist

The remaining videos are compiled into a playlist on Zella Day's official YouTube channel. The playlist has 9 videos, however one of them is a separate interview. Another video is marked private and placed between Journal Entries 4 and 5.

The playlist is located at the bottom of an archived version of Day's YouTube Channel from November 2016. Of the four videos presented in the capture, the last one is noteworthy as it doesn't appear in the current playlist. It is placed after Journal Entry 5 and appears to be a video from Free People titled "Free People Presents: Zella Day".[2]
