The DNA Algorithm is a Christian dance/electronic group from the UK that was formed and managed by Pastors John and Molly Bedingfield. The group is made up of siblings Nikola, Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield (the latter two later going on to have successful solo careers with songs like Gotta Get Thru This and Pocketful of Sunshine respectively). Their musical styles include R&B, Garage House, Drum & Bass, and Hip-Hop.[1]

During their time as a group, they recorded 2 extended plays: Doing A New Thing and Algorithms. Doing A New Thing was the only EP released by the group, the EP is rare and is not available online except snippets of the songs Rise Up and New Thing from the Cross Rhythms review of the EP.[2]

The 2nd EP, Algorithms, was planned for an initial release in New Zealand and then in the UK during June of 1999, but ended up being unreleased for unknown reasons. According to the website Cross Rhythms, The EP was going to be more “club-oriented” than their previous EP.[3]
