The Dove Awards are awards given to achievements in the Christian music industry, similar to the Grammys. During the 28th Annual Dove Awards, Big Idea Entertainment, creator of the hit children's series VeggieTales, was given the Dove Award for Children's Music Album of the Year for their album, "A Very Veggie Christmas".[1] Both Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber made appearances at the show to accept the awards in two segments: one with them accepting the award, and one with Bob thanking everybody for the award.

Availability

The only footage currently available of the two segments is in audio form from an older version of ultimateveggie.com, a VeggieTales fansite.[2] A list of Dove Awards DVDs suggest that video footage most likely exists on the 1997 DVD.[3]

On 29 Oct 2020, Racelympics has digitized a VHS recording of the actual footage for the first segment of Bob & Larry's Dove Awards appearance, and Mr. Lunch has uploaded it to YouTube. Now only the second segment's actual footage remains.
