The Dove Awards are accolades given to recognize achievement in the Christian music industry. In 1997, during the 28th Annual Dove Awards, BigIdea, creator of the hit children's series VeggieTales, was given the Dove Award for Children's Music Album of the Year. This award was given out for BigIdea's latest album, "A Very Veggie Christmas".[1] Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber voiced by Mike Nawrocki [2] made appearances at this show to accept the awards. Two segments were made for this appearance, one with Bob and Larry accepting the award, and one with Bob thanking everybody for the award. Also saying that god loves everyone. [3]

Availability

The only footage currently available is the two segments in audio form from an older version of the VeggieTales fan site, ultimateveggie.com.[4] A list of Dove Awards DVDs suggest that video footage most likely exists.[5]
