Empire Square (partially found animated series; mid-2000s)
Empire Square (or Empire Sq.) is an animated TV series written by comedian Matt Morgan and animated in a "pixelated" style. It originated in the United Kingdom where it is broadcast on Channel 4 late at night on Fridays. Around 2005-2006, American music network Fuse TV aired full length half hour episodes as opposed to the two to four minute ones in the UK.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The plot to Empire Square could be seen as a mix of South Park and a more raunchy Ed, Edd n Eddy, as episodes typically center around three kids named Ritchie, Rabbit, and Hooks going about their day while trying to come up with get-rich-quick schemes, occasionally starting bands, and generally getting into trouble.
Availability[edit | edit source]
Despite its apparent cult following, little footage or info on the show is available, with only one of the show's 12 episodes available online along with a promo for the series from Binside TV. However, a listing for the first series can be found on Amazon.
