Going Bananas was an American live-action superhero/comedy series created by Len Janson and Chuck Menville, produced by Hanna-Barbera, and aired on NBC from September 15, 1984 to December 1984 for a total of 13 episodes.
The show centers around an orangutan named Roxana Banana who escaped from the zoo and was adopted by the Cole family. One night, a mysterious spaceship comes down from the sky and endows Roxana with superpowers via a lightning bolt.
Only a few Portuguese dub episodes and a promo including several clips from the show have been found. No English episodes or other information has surfaced, however.
