Status: Partially Found

Hammerman is a short-lived American-Canadian Saturday morning cartoon, produced by DIC Entertainment and starring pop rapper MC Hammer as a youth center worker named Stanley Burrell (Hammer's real name) who owns a pair of magical dancing shoes (which are alive and can speak), which, when worn, cause him to transform into the superhero, Hammerman. The cartoon was aired from September 7 to December 7, 1991, on ABC for a total of 13 episodes.

Availability

Only three full episodes have been released on home video (all of which have also been uploaded online) and, apart from another upload with Polish over-dubbing, only four full episodes are available in English.

Updates

On August 11th, 2017, an anonymous user on 4chan posted a thread claiming to have VHS tape recordings of 12 episodes of Hammerman. To prove he had the episodes he posted a screenshot and released the titles for all the episodes he had. However, he doesn't want to release them to prevent any legal issues.[1]

On November 7th, 2017, YouTube user "areyoustilllistening" upload the full lost episode "Nobody's Perfect" to YouTube.

On January 13th, 2018, an anonymous user on fireden.net claim to remember the title of episode 13 as "Not Everything is What is Seems" although this cannot be confirmed as the episode hasn't been found yet.[2]

On November 25th, 2018, YouTuber Peter Lavalle uploaded a clip of an old TV recording of Hammerman to his account (specifically a clip of the intro, the first commercial break and a bit of the episode title card) the footage was actually from a previously unknown Hammerman episode entitled "Dropping Out".

Peter Lavalle later responded and agreed to send Yoshi the episode on the weekend so YoshiKiller2S could release the episode safely, with Peter later uploading the episode to his channel on January 12th, 2019.
