Hammerman is a short-lived American-Canadian animated series produced by DIC Entertainment[1] and Bustin' Productions, created by pop rapper MC Hammer. It features the voice of Clark Johnson as a youth center worker named Stanley Burrell (Hammer's real name) who owns a pair of magical dancing shoes (which are alive and can speak). When he wears them, he transforms into the superhero Hammerman. The cartoon was aired from September 7th to December 7th, 1991, on ABC for a total of 13 episodes. The show's copyright was owned by Bustin' Productions, Inc.,[2] although the company was suspended in 1993.[3]

Availability

As of February 2022, 10 full episodes of the series have resurfaced online. Of these, 5 are in full English, and 5 are in English with a Polish overdub.

On October 24th, 2019, a YouTuber named Viihdekonserni uploaded VHS recordings of the show to his YouTube channel. These recordings contained Finnish dubs of 3 lost Hammerman episodes.
