Hellfest was a American alternative music festival that ran until 2005[1]. The 2004 festival was the last one before the festival's demise days before the 2005 festival was supposed to happen[1]. Only the 2000, 2002 & 2003 festivals have had any official video release[2][3][4].

The official video recordings of the 2004 festival was filmed by High Roller Studios for an official Hellfest 2004 DVD but it never was released and the footage was shelved for 9 years[5]. In 2013 the original festival camera footage was given to filmographer Hate5six from High Roller Studios in order to release it[5]. Since the soundboard recordings have been lost Hate5six only had the audio from the video cameras to use[6].

It is unknown where the original soundboard recordings are located.
